Orkut is a place where ppl come to make new friends., find old ones., prob'ly even to look 4 love/relationship or for just plain timepass. I was doin all of that too yesterday nite., when a girl was chattin to me n we were just introducing ourselves and gettin to know each other. Then., a good old friend of mine dropped by my scrapbook. He should have chatted to me, but he started 'pulling my leg' (according to him) and cracked a joke on me for her. Fine. I'd care less. I'm not somebody who wud fight a good old friend for a new one., but this is not the first time he had done that., he needs to be taught a lesson.
So, I start arguing with him sayin that his joke had chased away the girl and he's to be blamed for it., I really didnt mean it but again., i had to get a point across to him. Then we had a war of words and punched each other with arguements. Though i saw that i had no valid reason left to argue, i never gave up and never lost the arguement. It was then that I realised that I was born to be a lawyer :P
I kept arguing with him and he was like, wat the hell's wrong with this guy !? Anyways., after the long arguement n discussion., the war ended abruptly and we both hit the sack about 2 hours after midnite.
The point that I wanted to get across to him was that, no matter how close you are to somebody, everybody has a personal space, a comfort zone that u should never encroach into. Encroaching into other's personal space leads to problems popularly known as being possesive in case of a boyfriend/girlfriend relation., being nosy in case of parents., being big-brotherly protective in case of siblings and sometimes frustruation in between friends. Even the most social animals like the elephants or lions will knock the heads off any family member that comes too close for comfort.
You may be the bestest of friends., the closest of siblings., lovers deep in love or the best parents ever., u still have to respect other's privacy and personal space. Got it Buddy ??? ;)

Hi! its arpita...i m the one who was chattng 2 u yesterday...well i read ur blog...are yaar i thnk tht arguement with ur friend was not needed simply bcoz HIS JOKE DIN CHASE ME AWAY...my line got disconnected suddenly n just cldnt reconnect it though i tried a lot...its as simple as tht....i read his scrap but i din bother much....sumthng similar has happened with me earlier also n i hav learnt a lesson from tht...i believe tht the minute u start givng shit to what ppl thmk abt u...u r finished...so i dun bother abt such things....its perfectly alright..
but i really appreciate ur thought tht ppl shud respect other's privacy n personal space, even i feel the same...

hey komal...i couldnt agree with u more on the space n privacy thing.recently an incident happened with me for which i had 2 permanently cut off from some1 whom ive known for years.it gets really irritating when friends act as spies.good way of teachin a lesson :)
