The movie starts of in the typical Ram Gopal Varma style with the camera flying in space zooming in n out suddenly.,with complete silence followed by a burst of sound. You see Amitabh( Subhash Nagre) in the black kurta or kameez or watever u call it n a Black dhoti with beads around his neck n one beaded necklace in his hands.Hey.., he reminds me of someone..,hmm.,oh yeh got it !Some one's name rhyming with nagre ??? Got it ? Better not speak loud bout it though ;) .
This is the talk everywhere that this movie's based on the life of one such individual that runsa parellel sarkar in Maharashtra doin justice to those who don't get it officially.Practically speakin.., A people's hero. But RGV denies it ! He says Amitabh's role is based on Marlon Brando in Godfather and Abhisheks (Shankar) on Al Pacino in GODFATHER. Whatever the truth is., RVG is once again successful in bringing out the best in Actors. Amitabh n Abhishek Hav done a gr8 job.Its really amazing how these two can manage even the slightest change in expression on their faces to bring out the essence of the scene. Overall its a gr8 movie and I wudnt mind watching it again.., mere saath chaloge ???
