Back to coll after close to 3 weeks. We had 2 give a seminar on our Project. Seminars are somethin I've never ever attended in my life and now I have to give one !? Well., I did my homework., stood in front of the mirror n practised what I have to say in the best.., non-artificial but impressive accent I could manage . Well., I was pretty impressed with myself ! BUT., alone at home in my shorts in front of the mirror is a lot different from a room with all your staff and 60 + students staring at you like u're some kind of exotic animal 4m a russion circus ! With High hopes and a lil' tensed ., I reached college and we all assembled in the hall. Then our staff gives a pleasant surprise that its gonna b a private seminar n not in front of every1 ! thnk god ! We used our sweet talks to get that one postponed too !
After that taken care of.., we just roamed around the huge college campus like a drunken man lookin 4 his house in a totally different part of the city .

But if felt good comin back 2 coll after a long time. Got to meet quite a lot of friends and was very glad I gotto spend time with 2 very good gal friends of mine.., Divya and Manjusha. Talked all kind of things that made absolutely made no sense and not one topic had relation to another ! But when u're with good friends., even silly talks are MEGA fun !
Even though i gotto meet a lot of friends at college.., I still kind of felt Alone in the Crowd ! It was difficult to start conversation with a few friends after all these days. That's wat happens when u lose touch with friends 4 a period of time ., atleast that's wat happens to me .
Glad that I atleast got to meet these two friends !

Yest I had been to GRIET's annual cultural fest PULSE 06. After my prev experiences., I decided not to go too early and so., made it there at bout 5 pm. Just like all the fests., nothin much to do. Was just walkin around with friends ., talkin., checkin out the stalls and the girls :P

Then comes the highlight of the day.., KK live concert !!! With gr8 difficulty we made it to the front of the crowd., close to the stage., and there was KK .., singin away his popular numbers. I've seen KK's shows b4 ., on tv., and he thought he wasn't a good singer 4 live shows., but this time ., he just blew everybody away !He performed some of his very popular numbers ., some hindi., some telugu and some my Favs such as Pal., Aap Ki Dua .., Oh Humdum Suniyo re !

There was a lot of pushin n shoving and i inhaled enuf dust to build a wall ! But it was all worth it., the whole experience of a live show., in the front line of the crowd ., with such an amazing singer and an equally good band to match ., its all simbly superb !!! U HAVE to go a live show to know wat it feels like.

My Color..,

I took this Ticke color test sent to me by my friend., i usually dont do all that stuff., but I had nothin else to do and i took the test., it was to find out 'wat color I am' ,. in other words., wat color defines me. Took a series of questions., pretty good ones., and here's the result.

DHOOM !!!

Na., thats not bout the movie or the song., plz don even mention them., i'm really sick of 'em now. Well., thats the name of our college's lil cultural fest. Nothin 'cultural' bout it., but thats usually the name given to the fun events everywhere.
Last two years., it really SUCKED ! We had it in a stinkin lil campus where it felt like it was a school annual day function! Compared to all that., this time it ROCKED !! I'll tell u y..,
-- first., the venue was changed to Durgam cheruvu., which was a little hard to find but a gr8 place 4 a party.
-- Second., We had a Tent., that too a pure white ., good looking ., washed Tent !!!
-- The crowd was HUGE ( Prob., close to 3K) !!! Fests like these are fun if there's a Huge crowd.
-- There was music playin all the time., so ., me obviously liked it.
-- Was with a very close friend ( Gautham) 4m school and one close frnd (Santosh) 4m the present class the whole day., coz they're not ditchers n I really like that .
-- Did I mention the crowd !?
-- We had a Rock concert 4 the first time.,by Wreckage ( runners-up at Hyd Campus Rock Idols) . It was a lil too heavy metal - Deathrock kind., but I enjoyed a few tracks., i even headbanged 2 them n came home with a headache !!!
-- The fashion show was gonna b good., but the crowd wasn't worth such stuff., it got stopped in between coz of.., well., the crowd !
After everything was over., on our way back i 'gave lift' to some stranger., which I usually never do., so thats the good deed 4 2day .
Then ., was goin 4 dinner with Gautham., met two cool friends Jawahar n Jaysurya on the way (I hav to mention cool coz Not many of that kind in my coll )and took them 4 a hot spicy n yummy north indian style dinner at a Dhaaba at Banjaara Hills with us.

Alrite., the bad stuff., It was darn hot 2day., half of the crowd wasn't worth the good fest., food was not that good., was a lil boring in the afternoon.,last but not the least.., the DJ SUCKED !!!

Even If it was just not that hot 2day., this wud have been a really gr8 day !!!

There's a New Magazine comin out in Hyderabad Targetted at the youth aged 16-25. It's called HYD-ro-GEN. It'll cover all possible issues concerned to this age group. My friends are involved in this and I'm tryin to get an article published in it. Even if it doesn't ., its gonna be a good addition to my Blog.

The Valentines Day .

I want you to write your opinion about this day.,its effect on our culture.,how imp it really is to us etc etc. Everything u have to say about it ! I'd like your FRANK and HONEST opinion bout it. Don worry if your ideas clash with others. It doesnt matter !!!
I'm not going to write what I feel bout it coz I dont want my ideas to effect urs in any way.

Sounds a bit weird hearin this 4m me (even to me) ., but., I kinda got used to doing work ! Yeah ! When this sem started .,then I thought i'll b missing my friends at college the most., I still do., but i've kind of realized that I miss the whole schedule., the whole 'gettin up-bus ride to coll-sitting in classes 4 attendance-canteen-labs-bus ride back to home' has so become a part of my life that I'm bored of doing nothing n getting bored. Its the same with my Project. It was a 4-5 hours a day(without even a min of sitting down)., 4-5 days a week project., even then we Njoyed it. Now miss that too. Glad I atleast got my guitar classes.
Coming to that.., its a lil frustruating now., doin all the basic excersises of plucking single strings etc., but again I realize., when u wanna speak a language., u have to learn alphabets.,then the words., then how to put them 2gether under certain rules n conditions to express something u want to. Music's just like that. My finger tips are kind of sore n they pain like they've been cut. Actually speaking., thats a good thing., it tells me I've practised well ! :)

Woke up pretty early 2day.., to head 4 our project to the outskirts of the city., to our industry where we're carryin out our project. Me n my friend got up early., made the long journey., made it safely to the industry on the dangerous highway., argued n reasoned with the security 4 comin late., and after all that., went to the workshop floor., looked at each other n started laughin. Coz both of us knew that we were done with the project., and went thru all that truble so that we cud have the tasty paratha on our way home ., like we do everyday :P
Its one of the best tastin parathas I've ever had in my life and we hav it at a small place on our way back home. One plate of that n u wont have anythin else 4 the rest of the day., its that good n heavy !
Came home tired., got my friends HD and copied a few movies like Electra.,The Ring 2 etc and then had a really gr8 sleep. After that., to my GUITAR CLASS ! well.., actually it wasn't thaaaat excitin 2day., i had to do this boring excercises for loosenin my fingers and placin them right on the frets. Turns out that my fingers are too big to not touch the other strings while they're on one and my long dirty finger nails make it even more difficult ! Wat a shame ! Anyways., i ain't givin up a spl dream so early ! No way ! I'll start by cuttin down my nails to size !

Dream comes true.., finally !!

2day, had no coll or project work., so was feelin lazy n got up 4m my bed pretty late. Had a bad start though., fights n arguements with folks at home :(
After that., ordered some food home., that has become so regular now that its not spl anymore !
Hmm..,after that.., wat did I do.., hmm yeah., wat else ., was online on orkut n downloadin music !
Then around 4:30., i tried to sleep., and managed to sleep 4 about an hour., only 4 an hour even though i was veeeeeeery sleepy.., coz I had to go to some place., some place to do somethin interesting., somethin that's been my dream since I was a little kid.
I had my first (demo) guitar class 2day !!!!!
Yeah ! thats right., GUITAR !! Its been a really big dream of mine. I've started n stopped trainin 4 a few other instruments b4, but, there's somethin spl n romantic bout the Guitar.
I looked 4 a few institutes 4 learnin this magical instrument., I knew wat I wanted 4m then.,but everybody's dissapointed me.., but this place i went to 2day., they were just the ppl i was lookin 4 ! Young ( almost my age)., passionate bout learnin n teaching music.., and they teach just the way i want to learn ! The timings., fee.,etc etc are very flexible., wat more can I ask 4 ! I had a demo clas 2day., hope my dad'll let me join these guys.
Many ppl wonderin., y guitar at this imp stage of life ., I'll say., this dream's very imp to me ., i have lots of free time in hand., if not now., thn may b I'll never get time to fullfill it !
N yeah.., i cud also use it while proposin to my girl whenever that'll be., whoever that is ;)

I came across this Blog Awards on one of my favourite blogs. She's 4m Australia and has been nominated quite a few times for 'Best Australian or New Zealand Weblog' ,'Best Designed Weblog','Best Writing of a Weblog','Weblog of the Year' etc.
I'm usually very shy and hesitant when it comes to askin 4 favours. But again, u guys are my friends., i'll put all that aside n ask u this.

It was a Lovely evening. Slightly breezy., perfect temperature., NO traffic police on the road ! Me n the gang decided to meet up at Eat Street., one of the most happening places in Hyderabad. We met at Eat Street ., almost on time ! Gosh ! So rarely that happens ! It was an unplanned outing but finally was decided that the treat was on Karthik coz he got his new mobile phone. Cool !

We all tapped our wallets gently and smiled silently. Rajiv got a TINY pizza for 50 bucks + taxes.
The rest of us got Chaat( which tasted weird that day but was still good coz we didnt pay 4 it ) n drinks. Then a small round of photoshoot with Rajiv yellin and attractin all the attention we cud hav asked 4 !

Time 4 desserts ! Ice creams 4 everybody !!! everybody took a cone and I asked 4 a speciality which i regretted later coz the cake was stinkin like it was made of grease ! Ice cream was good.







Then time 4 my experimental photography on the open roof top. We tried out a few pics in the cinematic 'Sepia' effect. Results were gr8 ! Here's one sweet fruit of my effort.

Things I did and things that happened 2day.,

--got up real late
.--decided to bunk college n project n stay home to chill.I regreted that decision when i got bored halfway thru the day.
--had breakfast at lunch time n lunch in the evening.
--had a really gr8 chat with one my best buddies Rose n got to see how she looks 4 the first time. Cute !
--Kartik's got a new mobile. Took a treat 4m him at eat street.Its the first time we sat down leisurely.
--took a lot of photos there.,hopefully will b able to put up a few here.
--came home n checked my NMAT results .,just to find that all they had to offer to me was a ' sorry! '.
--managed to b online 4 quite a long time bloggin., chattin n listenin to music even thought the stinkin sify net was bugging me a lot.

(Good) Things I did 2day :

-- Was out with my best buddies at nite 4 dinner n came back home just b4 midnite. Not exactly new year kind of fun but I got to spend a good one hour with them., so it was good.
--Stayed away 4m a party coz I was not comfy with the crowd .,when it comes to friends n fun I dont comprimise and I didnt.
--Talked to a few relations on the phone at midnite n wished them good luck 4 the new year.
--Was online till 4 am in the morning talkin to two good friends and listened to almost all the songs I love.
--Woke up 4m sleep very late after a looong time !
--Had a lot of food thru the day ( real bad beating 4 my diet).
--Gave emotional support(atleast I hope i did) 4 a very very good friend of mine when she needed it .
--Wished n got wishes 4m a LOT of friends thru sms and online.
--Met up with school friends.,checked out a new place and had good fun.

hmm., that was a pretty good start the new year !!
