2day I had been to my friends Bday treat., a dinner at a Bar n Restaurant. I wasn't happy about the 'bar' part of it. But i still joined them coz he's my dear old friend 4m school. By the time i came., my other friends were already boozing. The only reason i still go out with them is that they never seriously ask me or force me to drink. After i had ordered my softdrink n snacks., I noticed the ppl slowly fillin up the place. I was really disgusted ( i'm lookin 4 even stronger word here) at all those ppl ., youngsters., young employees and middle aged family men comin there., wastin their time n energy on somethin that's wasting away their precious lives. I still cant make out y somebody wud spend money on somethin that'd knock them off their senses. I've seen lots of intelligent n mentally strong ppl turn into circus monkeys after takin alcohol.


I've made a decision after 2day that i'm not gonna accompany any of my friends when there's boozing around. I've also made a promise that i'm gonna stay away 4m this slow poison 4m hell.
And for all those ppl who've told me that ' I gotto try everything in life and also shud experience how it feels to b high on booze or fagging.,atleast 4 once', my single finger salute to u guys.

U get up in the morning., lazy n still sleepy ., there's nothing more refreshin than a cup of hot coffee. Oh yeah., 4got., there's one more thing thats equally refreshing. The coffee ad. This coffee., probably the world's favourite., always has amazingly cool n refreshing ads and equally good songs to match. U probably guessed it by now., its Nescafe. I got my hands on this song recently and did a lil research on the artist. I first thought it was made in India.
The singer is a pretty chineese girl , Shunza. She's got a really soothing sweet voice. She was born in China, but she moved to San Francisco, when she was 6 years old. Then, she went to College in Switzerland. She's released 4 albums., all pretty good hits. U can find a lilttle more info about her here.

I have the lyrics here 4 u ., which by the way is very beautiful in its own simple way. Lots to learn 4m this song. The original song had 'lets get there' instead of Nescafe. U can listen to the song on the media player just about the shout box. Njoy !!!

I understand that my blog's flooded with loads of senti n emotional posts., so here's on more 2 add to the collection :D

I was just thinkin of how life's changed 4m bak to when i was a carefree kid to now where i'm a careless guy. The first obvious difference is that i've doubled in size ., but ppl say i'm still as cute as i was back then ;) There are probably a lot more things that have changed 4m back then to now., but these are the things that constantly come to my mind.

Back then., I loved to study., no ., nothin wrong with my mind., i just loved competetion and liked being good at what I do. Survival of the fittest., u can call it. Now ., its just about Survival. U can see a small smile on my face if i've just barely passed my exams. I don completely take the blame 4 that., but yes., there've been lots of distractions.
Back then., an outing with friends meant going to somebody's place and playin games or even studying ! Now., I have to dig out every rupee of my pocket money or savings just for one outing. Everythin's changed so much, that its not easy to hav fun without spendin out a few bucks.
Back then., eating out 4 me was in a small hotel, havin a plate of hot yummy dosa or poori. Now., eating out is goin to a restaurant., and havin all this junk food that sometimes cost more than the dress I'm wearing !
Back then., I'd b very happy to get my hands on even a rupee coz i could buy two chewing gums with that rupee ! Now., anything less than 10 bucks doesnt make me happy.
Back then., girls were some'things' i really didnt care about just like the cattle i saw in the streets. I mind my business and they mind theirs. Now., girls are everything. With all respect., girls 4 me are like nice puppy dogs. Don take it in a wrong way., i meant., they're lots of fun., I like them a lot and its really really nice if they like me back.
Back then., dressing up nicely meant anything except 4 the school uniform that i was in half my life. Now., nice clothes have to be real cool., comfortable.,somethin that'll make u stand out n probably turn a few heads and also be in sync with the styles thats 'in'.
Back then., the only problems i would have would b the mathematical problems and a few silly fights with friends which lasted 4 a day at max. Now., every nook n corner of my life is infected with problems. Financial., emotional., physical etc. The other diff regardin this matter is that., back then ., i used to run to my mommy whenever i had any problem ., now., i deal with them in my own way.
Back then., Life was so cool, innocent and peaceful., Now.., life's fun but filled with tensions. Its not really fun growing up...,
Back then., it was then.,. Now., is just now.

I was just living my life., minding my own business. Blogging casually., unaware of predators lurking around., cute but fierce predators. One day when i was least expecting., suddenly out of nowhere came Nidhi and 4m behind ., attacked ., oops., tagged me ! So ., now i must do that to somebody else. Before that., i have to follow the rules of the Tag game. This time I have to write down the things I hate the most. So., this is an easy one., without wastin anymore time., here's my top list of things I HATE .

-- This HAS to top my list. I REALLY really really really really really HAAAAATE to be kept waiting. Ppl who tell me " hold on 4 a minute" and then 4get that i exist.., ppl like that deserve a really ad punishment. Somethin like, they have to pee and they got a huuuuuuuuuge line in 4nt of the loo.

-- Somethin that irritates me as much as the thing above is when I'm talking to somebody and I'm cut off in between by them who have 'somethin more interesting to say'. SHUT UP 4 GODs SAKE !!! Let me finish damn it. I already talk less., if i'm not allowed to do even that, i'm gonna 4get the use of my mouth 4 communication !

-- Hypocrites . I dont really know if u can call it hypocracy but.,some ppl make plans and then dont stick to it. It happens too oftn with me and I've got scores of fights with friends 4 this reason and they still never change !

-- I HATE pens that don't write !

-- I hate it when some girls act very bubbly and girly., when in fact they're not. God ! Get a life ., a real one !

-- Confidence is good ., I hate ppl with overconfidence though.

-- Pride in something u have is good., I hate ppl with arrogance though.

-- I hate the horribly stinking hindi soaps on TV. Somebody save India 4m them plzzzzzzz.

-- I hate ppl with half-knowledge bout stuff and when they're stubborn enuf to not accept that.

-- I hate exams., i think its a big insult to all the students. Takin our money, torturin us in class with incompetent staff and after all that then testing us !? Wat thaaa ............ !!??

-- I hate burgers without the white sause.

-- Some ppl can make really good PJs. The rest., plz stick to ur level of sense of humour coz it can get really irritating !

-- I hate it when ppl use the GRE language even when talking to friends !

-- I hate ppl who hate me ., I REALLY DO. If u hate me., then better keep safe distance.

Now., i'm gonna share with u a few of my all time favourite things. Let me start with my all time favourite songs along with a short review for each and the links to the lyrics and the artists. There are hundreds of songs that I love and probably not much space of the server to fit info bout them all :P. Jus that these are my all time Favourites.

Nothing Else Matterrs - Metallica : This HAS to be on the top of my list. Its really cool that a heavy rock band like Metallica comes up with such a semi-rock melody like this. The lyrics too have the kind of meaning that says " I only care for what I like and Nothing else matters ". This is for sure the first song I wanna play in front of an audience if i get a chance to after I'm done with my guitar training.



They Don't Care About Us - Michael Jackson : This guy is really the Prince of Pop ! Even if i play this song on repeat for tens of times., everytime it still sounds so fresh and new. When this song came out the beats or the rythms in this song were somethin no one heard b4. It so young., energetic., full of life., Lyrics are good n different, you shud check it out.



Everybody Wants to Rule The World - Tears for Fears : These guys., a band from the 80's., looked so 80's with their mullets. I never thought this kind of song would come out of these punk kid looking kids. This is a song bout .., well., i really didnt understand the meaning of the song as a whole but the lyrics are still very nice. The beat or the feel of the song are something you would look perfect if Rocky ( the movie boxer ) was training to become Rambo ! It has such a powerful feel. A MUST listen. Get it if you dont have it ., now !



I dont wanna miss a thing - Aerosmith : When I heard this song for the first time on TV., i thought " Woaaaah ! How come a crazy lookin guy like that has come up with such a beautiful song and how the hell is he screaming and is still never out of tune !? I gotto get this song !!". AMAZING song. A MUST Listen again !



Don't Speak - No Doubt : Another song that I'd listen to., over n over again without ever getting bored. Has a kind of spanish-latino feel to it. The lyrics are a little personally spl to me., in another way though. Anyways one of the best songs ever and my sis hates this song so much and that makes it all the more nicer to listen to. :P



Just Feel Better - Carlos Santana (feat Steven Tyler of Aerosmith) : This is a very new song and a few times that I saw it on TV., I didnt pay attention to the song (donno wat was wrong with me!) and was just saw the video which was more like a movie clipping that a music video and i always skipped this song. I listened to this song and I fell in love with it the very moment. Now i realise that the video was JUST MADE for this song !



Sing For The Moment - Eminem : There are probably as many ppl who hate him as there are who amire him. I belong to the later half. He's a real performer. This song is one of his best ! The casual and very candid Rap lyrics of Eminem with the slow hip-hop beat with the opening para 4m Aerosmith's hit 4m the 70's, " Dream On " which is also one of my favourites ., all a perfect mixture 4 a HIT !


I listen to music as much as breath air to live. Its true., i always have music playing around me., if thats not there., u'll find me humming my fav's, probbly one of these. I'm open to music of all genres and all languages. Take my word for it ., I have a pretty good taste. If you don't have any of those songs above., get them 4m ur friends. I'm Very sure u'll like 'em.

Oh no ! Not again !

There are quite a few reasons Y I said that. 2day when i went to college , i was a little excited 4 some reason I didn't know. No, I dont think it was of the ever so popular date 'feb 14'. I was gonna give my seminar along with a powerpoint presentation n all. This is my first close-to-proffesional seminar and I was a little excited. But after all the excitement and tension, our seminar was postponed to another date., AGAIN.
My friends who travel by the public transportation and not the college bus like me left for their homes very early in the day and left me alone at college AGAIN.
There was another group of friends who played cricket all day long and since I can't play coz of my operated back, like always i was just sitting and watching the match AGAIN.
I asked a friend who's not going to college and probably free tomorrow, if we could go watch any nice movie and me n my plan were turned down., AGAIN.
I did have a good masti mazaa in the bus on the way home with my Jnrs ., AGAIN.
I came home so tired after the long trip to and from college and coz of the sleep deprivation from the last night that i almost fell asleep in mins still in my dress and shoes., AGAIN.
After a lil refreshment and something to eat, me and my sister left for the All India Industrial Exhibition, someplace every Hyderabadi visits at the begining of every year and we met our mom and cousin there as planned. My sister did some shopping and I didnt find anything worth spending money on and didnt buy anything for myself., AGAIN.
We went to our favourite food stall and just like the past 15-16 years had lots of hot-tasty-spicy-mouthwatering snacks there ., AGAIN.
Coz of the very small age difference my sis doesn't think of me as an elder bro and coz of the way she acts I don feel like that too . Me and my sis had a small verbal fight at the exhibition and i was terrible pissed off., AGAIN.

So., to all my friends who are plannin on askin me what special things I did on valentines day., I'd ask u to pay close attention to all the 'AGAIN's .
As I write down this post, Tired and listening to "Just feel better", which by the way is an amazing amazing song, I realise after all these years, that for somebody like me, who's still studying and jobless and unsettled in life,who's confused about the feelings he has for somebody and who's not sure what to make of these situations combined., the 14th of Feb is going to be just like the 14th of Feb or the 15th of Feb .
This post is NOT about complaining that my day was bad., it was pretty good. This post's bout lettin my friends know that my valentines day was just like any other day.

4m me to everybody ..,

When I was in the first semester of my final year, just a few months ago., i thought second semester's gonna b so much fun coz u almost dont have to go to college at all. May b work 2 days a week for the project and chill out the other 5 days . Thats wat I was expecting. Now., i'm done with my project., and have soo much free time in hand that I'm bored of being bored !

Life's pretty stagnant and there's nothin to inspire me to write bout somethin., anythin here !
So...., I'll just write down stuff that I wanna tell everybody ., my friends., their friends., my regular blog readers., strangers ., everybody ! These are kind of casual suggestions., advices., watever u call them.

- When u see somebody u know., make sure u greet them .., try doin it in ur own style.Hello, Hi, Wassup, How r u.., anythin will do. I'm not much of a talker, so I smile. Ppl remember u 4 a longer time then ., than wen u just walk by .
- When somebody's taking ur pictures., with ur permission of course., plz plz smile. Pictures are 4 remembering some good moments in life. U don wanna look like somebody's takin ur pictures holding a gun at ur back !!!
- When u're eating something , Njoy every bite like its ur last., n try not to eat while watchin TV. That way., u'll b satisfied and even eat less. Yes., its true. Thats a good thing 4 ppl who wanna loose weight and also u'll Njoy ur food.
- When u're with friends or family., try not to speak in a fake accent coz they all know ur true accent and it really irritates some ppl.., like me. Nobody likes fakes.
- Try to remember that not everybody has taken the GRE test. So keep ur vocabulary down to wat we mortals can understand. If u wanns show off., do it in the exams.
- Try not to complain bout ppl with whom u cant get along well. Not everybody has to be friends with everybody.
- Everybody has different mannerisms. Try understand ur friends better. Its better to not do somethin than do somethin that'll hurt ur friends. Even if u do., DO NOT let the 'EGO' demon to stop u 4m apologizing to them.
- Everybody has fights with their friends., but gr8 friends are those who can get back on track with each other the earliest. Life's too short to fight n waste even an hour with the ppl u care for.
- There mite b many new exciting things in life., but ppl who cant appreciate the old stuff that they already got with them can never b happy or satisfied with anything !
- NEVER lie to ur family and friends coz they're the ppl who'll back u up when the rest of the world turns on u.
- However good friends u are with somebody., long breaks without being in touch can slowly chew up on the friendship like termites inside wood. Its not visible., but its happening.
- When something's bothering u a lot., talk bout it to somebody. When something someone's done is bothering u ., talk to them bout it. It ALWAYS helps.
- Being really open n honest bout everything with ur friends always helps in bonding better. Have silly talks bout random topics with ur good friends. Believe me., its a lot of fun n u also get to know a few things bout them that U never knew b4.


I'm not really perfect to advise somebody on anything but., I'm working on a few of these myself. I dont want to bore anybody to sleep after reading these. More points on my next post., soon. After that u can sleep. :P

Does anyone watch the program I.Q on channel V ? Its damn funny . Ask ppl tough questions ., n they'll think n answer it., ask them easy questions and we have a comedy show !
This episode I saw 2day., the question was " wat is national song of India" ., mind u .,its the song., not anthem. Bout 90 % of the ppl say jana gana mana ( which is the national anthem ) and the rest say Sare jahan se acha ( as far as I know., its not a national anything., but still pretty popular ) . One guy even said " hum dil de chuke sanam " ., Pppppphaaaaha haha !!!
